MEDITATION - The External and Internal Purifier!

 What is Meditation?

Meditation is the process by which we find love, peace, and inner peace. It is a process of feeling God's love for ourselves by diverting our attention to the outside world and focusing on the inside. By doing so, we are able to avoid focusing on the environmental issues and to connect with the Source of all love, all joy, which is God. Meditation is the highest form of prayer and opens the door to the storehouse of unrequited love.

Meditation is the way the soul expresses love for God.

HISTORY OF MEDITATION

Where Did Meditation Begin?

It is like setting up how long meditation has existed, pointing out its source is equally deceptive.

The earliest known records are from Hindu, Indian, and Vendatism traditions dating to about 1500 BCE Vendatism is a school of philosophy and is one of the earliest forms of Indian enlightenment. Other forms of meditation were also cited in about the 6th and 5th centuries BCE within the Taoist China and Buddhist India.

The exact origin is strongly debated, especially in Buddhist meditation (Wynne, 2007). Some of the earliest written accounts of various forms of meditation on Buddhism in India can be found in the sutras of the Pāli Canon, dating back to the first century BCE The Pāli Canon is a collection of texts from the Buddhist tradition of Theravada.

Other evidence has linked the practice of meditation with Judaism, which is thought to have been inherited from their earlier traditions. The Torah (the first five books of the Tanakh, the Hebrew Bible) contains the description of the patriarch Isaac 'going to' throw away 'in the garden. This term is often understood as a form of meditation (Kaplan, 1985).

Benefits of Meditation

• Although it is a popular topic these days, meditation is an ancient practice that has become very popular because of its many benefits. Over the past few decades, the benefits of meditation science have been studied by numerous clinical and research groups around the world. At various levels, systematic reviews and meta-analyzes have found evidence of physical benefits for meditation.

• Meditation Reduces Stress and Anxiety

People around the world have turned to meditation for relief, as studies have shown that regular, accurate time for meditation can reduce stress and anxiety. This in turn reduces stress-related illnesses such as high blood pressure, insomnia, chronic pain and fatigue, while reducing the risk of developing stress-related illnesses, such as heart disease, digestive disorders, and headaches.

• Meditation Boosts the Immune System

Meditation increases disease resistance and improves recovery time after surgery and illness. These health benefits of meditation are due to the fact that meditation helps to slow down the brain waves in a relaxed state, allowing the body to relax and become more relaxed.

Mental Meditation

Our minds are often shaken by stress. Life is hectic. People have too much to do and too little time to do it. Some people hold jobs that require longer hours and more responsibility. People are quick — angry, balanced, and “depressed.” They may even be acting in a way that is not their own. Sometimes they vent their frustrations on loved ones.

Meditation Relaxes the Body

We find more rest in meditation than we do sleeping. Why? In sleep, we dream. We may have nightmares or depression. A sleeping body may respond to dreams as if they were awake. We may throw up and fall asleep. In meditation, however, the body and mind are stationary. There are no depressing thoughts or dreams in meditation that we can respond to. Thus, a time for peace in our bodies.

• Meditation Depresses

Meditation is a way to eliminate the imbalance caused by stress. By spending time meditating, we create a calm environment to restore balance to our mental functioning. Researchers who record brain activity find that our brain waves range from 13 to 20 Hz when we are involved in stressful situations at work, driving in traffic, or in combat or flight mode.

In meditation, the levels of stress decrease. The mind is calm, and, too, soothes the body. By meditation, we bring healing to our attitude. We can then work effectively and peacefully in this world.

1) Focused Meditation

It involves focusing on the whole thing while adjusting everything else around you. The goal is to really get whatever you are focused on, whether it be your spirit, a particular word, or a mantra to achieve the highest level of existence.

2) Mental Meditation

It includes, among other things, both mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and psychotherapy-based therapy (MBCT). Contemplation can lead to a variety of issues, such as depression, which means that your focus may be different from the practice. All in all, it includes a state of awareness and participation in the modern age and self-awareness, awareness, and acceptance.

Meditation Tips

If you are interested in trying to meditate, there are tips and tricks that will help you start a profitable meditation practice.

Start small. Start by doing short sessions of about 5 to 10 minutes a day, and gradually work your way up to longer sessions.

1) Set the program. Try to meditate at the same time each day — for example, for a few minutes at first something early in the morning.

Get comfortable. Keeping your legs crossed is one way, but comfort is the real key. You need to be in a position where you can sit for a few minutes without being uncomfortable, stiff, or restless.

2) Focus on what you are feeling. Breathe naturally and be aware of the feelings and emotions you experience when you breathe in and out.

3) Do not try to suppress emotions. Your mind will likely wander as you meditate — and sometimes it can lead to thoughts and feelings and you may feel uncomfortable or depressed. The goal is not to distract you from such thoughts. Instead, divert your thinking to good things in life, and gently guide your thoughts back to your breath.
